Asperger’s Syndrome or Asperger Disorder is a neurobiological disorder named for a Viennese physician in 1944, Hans Asperger. The disorder officially became part of the DSM IV (manual used by physicians to diagnose) in 1994. According the DSM IV (attached) people with Asperger Syndrome face challenges in several areas.
