With another school year getting started, many parents of children with Autism or Asperger’s find themselves in a dilemma over how to communicate with school administrators, teachers and counselors. In this edition of Kelli’s Audio Diary, she discusses some ideas and provides listeners with some tips for how to communicate with schools during difficult situations.

    Thank you. I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who has problems with the school. It is really tough for me this year, because I interviewed with this school for a teaching position this summer, and then I turned them down to work at the college level. So….. I always feel like I am under watch when I go to the school, and that they expect me to be the”educator” instead of the mom.
