Montessori Education Overview

Education and learning are often huge barriers for a child who has autism. There are many reasons for this, but one of the major reasons is that in a traditional school classroom setting the basic rule of thumb is for kids to sit down sit still and be quiet.

This is a tall order for all kids – whether they have autism or not. For a child with autism, it can be excruciating, if not impossible. On the other hand, Montessori classrooms work on the opposite premise.
